Reliance Jio ₹8,888 Home Broadband Plan Offers Attractive Benefits

Although the upfront cost may appear high, the plan, known as the Freedom Pack, effectively works out to Rs 555 per month. It includes a range of over-the-top (OTT) benefits, with 12 OTT platforms bundled into the package. The plan provides 12 months of standard validity along with an additional four months of service at no extra cost.

The Rs 8,888 Jio home broadband plan provides download and upload speeds of up to 30 Mbps. It also includes complimentary voice calling through a landline connection, although customers need to purchase the landline device separately. The package offers a total service period of 16 months, including four free months under the promotional offer.

Subscribers receive access to 12 OTT platforms, including JioHotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, TimesPlay, TarangPlus, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe and ETV Win. The plan also provides access to more than 1,000 live TV channels. For AirFiber connections, the monthly data allowance under the fair usage policy (FUP) is 1,000GB, while Fiber connections receive 3.3TB of data.

Reliance Jio’s home broadband services are available across India. Its AirFiber offering has also helped the company extend high-speed broadband connectivity to a wider range of locations. While the Rs 8,888 price may seem substantial, the plan can offer good value for users who are specifically looking for 30 Mbps speeds along with extended validity and bundled entertainment benefits.
