Jio Introduces ₹2,222 Plan with 30 Mbps Broadband and Three Months of OTT Access

Summary:
Reliance Jio is offering a three-month broadband plan priced at ₹2,222, featuring 30 Mbps internet speeds along with an extensive bundle of OTT subscriptions. The plan includes access to popular streaming platforms, over 1,000 live TV channels, seven days of complimentary service, and an extra 100GB of data valid for 90 days. JioFiber users receive a 3.3TB data limit under the Fair Usage Policy, while JioAirFiber users get 1TB, with the company recommending fiber where available for a more reliable broadband experience.

Reliance Jio, the country’s largest telecom operator, is offering a three-month broadband plan priced at ₹2,222. The plan works out to roughly ₹740 per month, making it noticeably more expensive than Jio’s standard monthly 30 Mbps broadband plan, which is available for around ₹400 per month (prices excluding taxes). While the broadband speed remains the same at 30 Mbps, the higher price is primarily due to the extensive OTT entertainment package included with the subscription.

Reliance Jio ₹2,222 Plan: OTT Benefits

The ₹2,222 plan includes access to a wide range of OTT platforms, including JioHotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, TimesPlay, TarangPlus, ErosNow, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, and ETV Win, offering users entertainment across multiple streaming services. In addition to OTT subscriptions, the package provides 30 Mbps download and upload speeds, more than 1,000 live TV channels, and seven days of complimentary service for customers opting for the long-term plan.

The Fair Usage Policy (FUP) allows up to 3.3TB of data for JioFiber users, while JioAirFiber customers receive 1TB of data. Jio recommends choosing the fiber connection wherever available, as it generally delivers a more stable experience than AirFiber. The plan also includes an additional 100GB of data valid for 90 days, valued at ₹101. Customers can subscribe through the MyJio app on Android and iOS devices or by visiting the official Jio website.
