Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, through its wholly owned arm Waaree Green Data Centers Private Limited, has incorporated two new wholly owned subsidiaries, Aurovault Data Centers Private Limited and Sunstar Data Centers Private Limited.
Aurovault Data Centers has been formed to develop, design, finance, build, own, lease, operate, maintain, manage and commercialise hyperscale, artificial intelligence (AI)-ready and edge data centres, along with disaster recovery centres, cloud infrastructure facilities, digital infrastructure parks and colocation facilities in India and international markets. Its proposed offerings will include colocation, managed hosting, cloud connectivity, internet exchange, network services, disaster recovery, business continuity, data storage, cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, graphics processing unit hosting and high-performance computing.
Sunstar Data Centers Private Limited was incorporated on September 11, 2026, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Green Data Centers, which owns 100 per cent of both newly established companies. Neither subsidiary has commenced operations at present. The move comes as India’s data centre sector continues to expand, with total capacity projected to rise from 4.48 gigawatts (GW) in 2025 to 15.21 GW by 2031, supported by hyperscalers reserving substantial capacity in advance and entering into long-term power purchase agreements.
