Airtel Introduces Affordable High-Speed Broadband Plan Bundled with OTT Entertainment

Airtel Introduces Affordable High-Speed Broadband Plan

Summary:
Bharti Airtel’s ₹899 broadband plan offers 100 Mbps upload and download speeds along with a bundle of OTT services, including JioHotstar, ZEE5, Airtel Xstream Play, Google One, and Adobe Express Premium, plus access to 350+ live TV channels. The plan includes 3.3TB of monthly high-speed data for Fibre users and 1TB for AirFiber customers, after which speeds are reduced under the Fair Usage Policy (FUP). Priced at ₹899 (excluding GST), it provides a comprehensive entertainment and broadband package, unlike the lower-priced ₹799 plan, which does not include OTT or TV benefits.

Bharti Airtel, India’s second-largest telecom operator, offers an affordable high-speed broadband plan bundled with multiple OTT (over-the-top) entertainment services. While the company provides several broadband options that include streaming subscriptions, the ₹899 monthly plan stands out by combining 100 Mbps internet speeds with a wide range of entertainment benefits. In addition to OTT access, the plan also includes live TV channels. GST is charged separately, taking the total monthly cost to slightly above ₹1,000, while still delivering substantial value.

Bharti Airtel ₹899 Broadband Plan Benefits

The ₹899 broadband plan provides 100 Mbps download and upload speeds. Subscribers receive access to JioHotstar, ZEE5, and Airtel Xstream Play, with Xstream Play offering content from numerous OTT platforms. The package also includes Google One membership and Adobe Express Premium.

Along with streaming services, customers get access to more than 350 live TV channels, including Star Sports, ZEE TV, Sony SAB, Sony Entertainment Television, Star Utsav, Nick, BBC News, CNN-News18, and many others. The plan includes unlimited internet usage, with 3.3TB of high-speed monthly data available under the Fair Usage Policy (FUP). Once this limit is reached, internet access continues at reduced speeds.

The plan is available to customers across India, although the monthly data allowance varies by connection type. Airtel Fibre users receive 3.3TB of monthly data, while AirFiber subscribers get 1TB per month. The bundled OTT subscriptions and TV channels are exclusive to the ₹899 plan and are not included with the lower-priced ₹799 broadband plan, which offers internet connectivity without entertainment benefits.
