BSNL Fiber Freedom Plan Benefits
The BSNL Fiber Freedom Plan provides speeds of up to 200 Mbps along with 5,000GB of monthly data. Customers also receive access to more than 25 premium OTT platforms, combining broadband services and entertainment in a single package.
BSNL has not yet revealed the names of the OTT services included in the plan. The company has also not specified how long the special introductory pricing will remain available.
BSNL Introduces New Selfcare App
Along with the Fiber Freedom Plan, BSNL has updated its Selfcare application for Android and iOS and renamed it “BSNL Selfcare New.”
The app allows users to recharge prepaid connections, pay postpaid and landline bills, register and track complaints, manage DND preferences, view payment history and submit requests for new fibre connections.
Additional features include an AI chatbot, voice-based search, support for managing multiple accounts and access to BSNL Entertainment TV.
Around 500 Live TV Channels for BSNL Mobile Subscribers
BSNL mobile customers can now watch approximately 500 live TV channels through BSNL Free Entertainment TV, powered by Tango TV.
The service is available at no additional cost through the new BSNL Selfcare app, providing users with live television and on-demand entertainment content on their mobile devices.
BSNL Expands Its 4G Network
BSNL has also placed orders for more than 26,300 additional 4G BTS sites to be deployed across the country. The expansion is aimed at extending its 4G network to more towns, villages and remote locations.
According to BSNL, its 4G network has been optimized to provide better network performance, broader and more consistent coverage, higher data speeds and improved call quality. The network is based on an indigenous technology stack that is capable of being upgraded to 5G.
